Patricia (Pat) Ann Fenton Bickley, 70, of Flint, TX passed away on November 28, 2022 in Tyler, TX. Pat was born May 1, 1952 in Tyler, TX to Fred and Lois Moore Fenton. Pat graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in Tyler, Texas, received her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education, and her Master’s Degree in Education from The University of Texas at Tyler, Tyler, TX. Pat held the position of Educator with Tyler ISD and was a Field Supervisor for new teachers at The University of Texas at Tyler, Tyler, TX.

Pat was a loving, kind and selfless friend, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, homemaker, beloved teacher, mentor and the best friend anyone could have. Pat was a one-of-a-kind teacher who gave her all to the enrichment of her students, instilling in them the love of learning. She had an unbelievable talent for making every child feel loved. Pat cherished her family, enjoyed playing Bunco and it was a known fact that, she was an excellent cook and everyone loved the opportunity to eat anything she made. 

Pat is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Ronnie Bickley; son, Mark Bickley; grandchildren, Lain Bickley and Dylan Bickley; brothers, Phil Thedford and Dale Thedford, brother-in-law Jack Bickley, and stepmother, Geraldine Fenton.

Pat is preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Lois Moore Fenton and son, Matthew Bickley.

Pallbearers will be Steve Driskill, P.C. Tompkins, Chris Bynum, Nick Hall, Steven Johnson, Phil Thedford, Michael Wickman, Willie Fears and Paul Manziel.

Services will be held at Stewart Family Funeral Home in Tyler, TX on Thursday, December 1, 2022 at 10:30 in the morning with a visitation an hour before the service with Rev. Roy F. Thoene officiating. Burial will follow the service at Flint Cemetery in Flint under the direction of Stewart Family Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations of a children’s book may be made to Owen’s Elementary School, 11780 County Road 168, Tyler, Texas 75703 to honor and continue Pat’s love and passion for reading
