Comments:

Have a blended family. Aaron is my only child. JJ, Thomas and Carmen are my husband's, but I claim them as my own. Was married to my first husband for 17 years and then divorced in 1987. Met the true love of my life in 1991 and after a very long courtship we married in 2002. We have 4 grandchildren, but if you include our children's spouses it is 8!
Lived in Tyler until 1974 and then moved to Tehran, Iran due to my husband's employment with an oil company. Lived there until the Shah was overthrown and moved back to Tyler in 1978. Built a home at Emerald Bay in 1980 where we enjoyed sailing and golfing. Divorced as friends in 1987 and have remained very close friends even to this day. I have worked mainly in the healthcare field and presently work for Fresenius Medical Care which is the largest dialysis company in the world. I have been with them since 1998 and enjoy my job. This is when I moved back to Tyler after living for a few years in Dallas. We live on 5 acres on FM 344 near Wheeler Rodeo arena and love it! I guess I am a country girl at heart. Plus my Junior (yes that is his real name!) would never move to Dallas and I needed to be close to my Mother who needed my help. She passed away in 2006, surviving my Father who passed away in 1982. My family has dwindled so there is only my sister and I left, but my husband has a huge family so I am blessed. Never a dull moment. We recently purchased a decked out fishing barge and take it out on Lake Palestine all the time. Really enjoy that! My true love is horses and next on my list is to fence off part of our land and get myself another horse....before I am too old to get up on one (ha, ha). Age to me means nothing and can truly say that each decade has been no big deal. Can't say that about some of my other friends. Maybe 60 might sting a little but what's the alternative?
I can't wait to see some of my classmates and plan to go to the reunion. Hope to see many of you there!

School Story:

I have good memories of REL. I haven't stayed in touch with too many of my old friends. Most of them have just drifted off and I've lost contact. My best friend, Melba Spier remained very close all throughout the years. We loved each other and were always there for each other during all the good times and bad times of our lives. She passed away suddenly this past year and I miss her tremendously. I can't call my BF anymore, but have lots of pictures and good memories. I've ran into Lethe Stamps off and on and know she's out there somewhere. Don't know where is Jane LaRue?
Since I married so young, I really dropped off the scene and that made it hard for me to keep up with but only a handful. So hopefully some of those people will show up. It should be a great time.

This is my husband and myself taken at my Mother's apartment in 2005. I hate this of me but he sure looks good. I have since lost 30 lbs. and changed hairstyles. That's my "Man in Black". Ha, ha. Love you baby!

This is our precious Annie. We also have three other dogs. One that we acquired from my Mother In Law (who refuses to be photographed), who passed away and two that we rescued. They are our kids now.

This is my precious Zinger, my little princess cat who passed away in my arms last year at the ripe old age of 21.

Just a random photo of our property after a nice snowfall. Annie is out there running through the snow having a ball. This is looking out to the back of our property.

These are our rescued babies. What a blessing they have been. The strawberry blond is Lucy and the brown little boy is Slinky. Lucy was found wandering down a highway and Slinky was rescued from a horrible house and had been abused by a man. He is scared to death of men and only my husband and a few other men can get close to him. He's a Momma's dog.

This is the same winter, looking from our porch down the driveway. We have a long driveway down to the main road. Love the privacy!!
