Wayne was the love of my life and his passing was sudden and very difficult for those of us who love him. He was a devout Christian who served our Lord faithfully and knew his future in heaven is secure. He loved his family, his Lord, and the Aggies! He is missed by all who knew him. I was just checking the REL website and was so saddened to see the news about Wayne. He was a very nice guy and I have good memories of our GABC years. My sympathy to you and your famlly.

I just joined this group so this is my first opportunity to write about Wayne. Wayne was a member of a group of us at Lee. Ken Reed, Ray Campbell, Ed Portier, Mike Milburn, David McElhanon, and myself. On the weekends we got together on Friday nights and lots of mischief ensued. Wayne's future father in law would call us heathens in need of redemption. Wayne and I attended TAMU along with Ken, Ed, and Mike. Wayne was a dependable friend and compatriot. His old group came from around the country to attend his funeral in Houston. He will be missed by all that knew him.
