Michelle and I planned to attend the reunion, even told Bob Hahn that we would, then found ourselves on an extended family trip that prevented us from attending. Our recent loss of Dad has changed things for us this year. Bruce was my personal mentor, coach, counsellor, and close personal friend. We are active parents of five wonderful children, and I serve as Chairman of the Salvation Army advisory board in Tyler. This is a great organization that feeds over 3,000 people each month and which provides a modern lodge for 150 people every night. Michelle and I both enjoy helping those in our community who cannot help themselves. Michelle is the love of my life! We also value the work of the Literacy Council in Tyler, and the East Texas Symphony. Kind of glad my gray head was not recognized in the photo gallery this time, although looks like a fun reunion. Have great memories of fellow classmates like Keith Payne, Bob Hahn, Chris Woldert, Jim Echols, Eddie Liu and others who have emerged as leaders in their families and chosen professions. Thanks to Beckie, Debbie and others who worked hard to make the reunion possible.

I was fortunate to have attended Washington and Lee in Virginia with Keith Payne where I developed a passion for American history and the civil war. I graduated from TCU on two scholarships then sold real estate for Ben Fitzgerald before joining the family business where I was responsible for hiring and training our people. Our busy family keeps us active, I am recovering from an knee injury from a recent snow skiing accident. I have a goal of reading 200 more biographies about famous presidents and civil war heroes. Would enjoy teaching American history class somewhere going forward. We have a great class and I am proud of you all!
